Other Technologies
While I don't have commercial experience in some of these areas, I still feel that I can give a high level of competency.
NT Security
The Canon project was implemented on an IIS platform and had to include an NT Security component. To do this I needed to gain a full understanding of NT Security, including user groups, domains and the Challenge Response mechanism.
Python
I picked up Python while I was in Australia. During a period of job hunting I sat down and thought out a design for an object database, with the database objects being able to run their own Python methods. I read a book on the language and consider it one I'd be able to script in proficiently.
Linux
We did use Linux for a while at Rebellion due to a legacy application from a previous programmer on the project. I am experienced with GCC and GDB (Gnu compiler and debugger) and also the basics of getting around the operating system. I also installed Red Hat on my home computer in Australia.
Kylix
I've never really touched Kylix, I've read quite a lot about it though. Being experienced in Delphi and C++ Builder and my experience with Linux I'd imagine that I'd be a good bet if no experienced Kylix developer was available.
Java
In investigating Java for a project I played a little with Java beans. Again, not much Java experience, but hey it's an Object Oriented language and I feel I'd be able to get going pretty quickly using it.
